Oversimplified strategy isn't a substitute for good strategy.īy your logic Polyarc shouldn't have even developed Moss as a VR game at all and would have made out better building Moss as a flat game for Wii U and switch. Polyarc could or could have been focused on Moss book 2 immediately and Mouseguard for PSVR and be way further up that more progressive path rather then spending all this time porting Moss to a variety of different platforms that likely won't be beneficial for Polyarc or the Moss IP. ![]() Sony would likley be game to financially support an established property as a game prospect as well. and try to reach out to video content creators that are PSVR focused and those that are just more Playstation focused or atleast have people dedicated to PS, like Kinda Funny, IGN, Jared Petty, Gamespot and try to get video interviews for the devs with gameplay to get enough exposure to motivate PSVR owners to buy the games and ramp up more of the Playstation owners on the fence for PSVR.įrom my perspective it would have made more sense to use Moss as a "Proof of Concept" for bringing the Mouseguard comic IP into gaming and I'm sure Archaia press would go for that, just because it's unlikely they had a plan for that to happen, but would extend the life of the IP. It just makes more sense to develop for PSVR exclusively if you can get on the platform first like Moss, The Persistence etc. The problem is that small groups developing for these platforms and then selling a handful of games will either demoralize them or bankrupt them before they can get to or get back to PSVR. There really aren't legs for much of anything on PCVR and by extension Quest. I definitely believe this is a game/studio Sony should go out of their way to get exclusive rights to again.
